History

Founded in the northern suburbs of Boston. Largest private practice radiology group in Massachusetts. Academic partnership with Tufts Medical Center (exclusive radiology department since Oct 2021) — provides academic-level subspecialty reads in a community setting. 20 locations across northeastern MA and southern ME/NH. Grew from ~45 rads in 2020 to 71 in 2025 through organic hiring and mergers. Recent partnerships: Heywood Healthcare (Jun 2025), York Hospital (Jul 2023). UPDATE (2025): • CRA website Jun 2025 confirms 71 radiologists + 3 APPs (no significant change from earlier count). • Academic partnership with Tufts Medical Center remains in place (Oct 2021 announcement still active). • Geographic footprint: MA North Shore/Merrimack Valley, ME (York Hospital), NH (Heywood Healthcare). • "Largest private practice radiology group in Massachusetts" per CRA self-description.

Technical Component

Primarily PC/PSA. Operates several outpatient imaging centers in northern suburbs of Boston (TC). Does not own hospital TC infrastructure.
